ASSiST Celebrates An Anniversary !

Summer 2019 marked the fifth year for ASSiST offering STEM support to students in South Texas.  We are excited about the growth both in number of students served and in local sponsorship.  Come visit the website often as we update our team roster for the FIRST Robotics 2019-20 season.  New teams are forming and veteran teams are preparing to kickoff their 2019-20 season challenges.  We look forward to seeing what our students will accomplish.

Our teams were busy this summer with outreach to our community.  Watch our photos page as we will soon be uploading reports from our summer activities.

To all our wonderful community partners:  Thank you for partnering with us as we raise up the next generation of high tech workforce to be your next employee pool.

Throughout the summer, ASSiST teams have been visiting the Children's Museum of Houston's Inventors' Workshop as part of the museum's Sci-Fi Summer. Reaching out into the community and introducing younger children to STEM and robotics has been an incredible experience to say the least.
