Throughout the summer, ASSiST teams have been visiting the Children's Museum of Houston's Inventors' Workshop as part of the museum's Sci-Fi Summer. Reaching out into the community and introducing younger children to STEM and robotics has been an incredible experience to say the least. Error 404, the FIRST Tech Challenge team that started ASSiST, won the Inspire award at the San Jacinto College Qualifying tournament on Jan. 21, 2017. This award automatically qualifies the team to advance to the SE Texas Regional Championship on Feb. 18.
